Carstay Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “we”), in providing the matching platform service Vanshare, which offers a van life experience to travelers, has set forth the following terms that apply to the Owner/Host. Please check the respective pages for more details about each item.
1. Provider
The name of the provider for each vehicle, parking lot, or sightseeing experience listed on Vanshare is indicated on its respective detail page. The address, telephone number, person in charge of operations, and other legally required information will be provided as appropriate upon request. Please find the contact details below.
2. Service Usage Fee
The Service Usage Fee (or the compensation for services including consumption tax) will be deducted in advance from the price set at the time of registration of each vehicle, parking lot, or sightseeing experience. The remaining balance will be paid to the Owner/Host.
3. Payment Period and Method
For vehicles, payment is required at the time the booking request is approved. For parking and sightseeing experiences, payment is required at the time the booking request is made. Payment can only be made by credit card.
4. Time of Offering the Service
Vehicle or parking lot rental, or sightseeing experience will start on the effective date of booking.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of booking is possible. The cancellation policy is indicated on the detail page, so please be sure to review it before making a booking. In the event that the provider cancels the service for whatever reason, a full refund will be made.
6. Payment Settlement Deadline
The deadline for payment and settlement is specified by the Owner/Host for each service. Please note that if the Owner/Host cancels the transaction before it settles or if the transaction fails to settle before the deadline, it is automatically voided.
In addition to the items listed above, we will respond to any related inquiries in accordance with the Japan Act of Specified Commercial Transactions.
